New Mom syndrome & Real Estate Investing

@Kk Brown, I'll admit to having a little trouble understanding your post at first, probably because I'm a linear thinker. But regardless, you are jumping in, so congratulations.

Two things got me full time and quiting my "job".

My boss at the time, who was a real estate and construction entrepreneur, gentlly kicked my butt and told me I was afraid to quit and go full time. I was annoyed and indignant, mostly because he was right. I then started working twice as hard to the point that my income from outside my job was more than my income from inside my job, and my "job" was limiting my income.

I was very fortunate at the time that my boss was completely supportive, and in fact we subsequently partnered on my lending business.

I was lucky to have that safety net as I moved into full time real estate, but you seem to be very focused on saving and living cheaply, which will go a long way towards achieving your end goals. I assume your husband will continue to work at a job, which will also help, I don't recommend his quitting his job while you are trying to do this.

Congratulations on getting two properties from saving money, you are an inspiration!!!
